Durham, a city in North Carolina, is currently the 4th largest city in entire state in terms of population size. During the 2010 US census, the population was 228,330, but the estimated current population of the city is said to be over 263,000. The city was incorporated on the 10th of April 1869 and named for Bartlett S. Durham.
